Our meetings are currently held on the 3rd Tuesday, every month (except December) at the Riverside Community Center located at 3061 Riverside Drive, which is off of Palm Beach Blvd (SR 80). Meetings begin at 7pm and include discussions of the current coin market, recent and upcoming coin shows and just about any other numismatic subject that might be of interest to members. We often have programs by members or guest speakers that cover many varied aspects of the numismatic hobby. All club members are always welcome and encouraged to give a brief talk, show and tell or presentation on their particular collecting interests.
Every meeting offers the chance to participate in a coin raffle that makes for some interesting additions to a participants collection.
We also conduct both a coin auction and a bid board auction where members may put up their own coins for auction to the membership. Coins place in the coin auction typically have a value over $10 and a nominal sellers fee. There is no buyers fee. The auction material is pre graded by a committee. But, grading is subjective and you should always review each lot carefully. Refreshments are typically served during a break. Meetings typically end around 9pm.
The Fort Myers Coin Club typically has some special meetings including a Holiday Party in December.
